Insert> Equation InsertEquation isn't the command it executes. Thanks for posting in this community, as said, there is a built-in shortcut for InsertEquation: Control+ =, and my test showed that the built-in shortcuts cannot be replaced by custom shortcuts, this is also why your custom shortcuts don't work, becauseīuilt-in shortcuts have higher priority than custom ones.
